Awujale of Ijebuland · 1916 – 1925

Son of Oba Anikinaiya Fugbajoye. Crowned 10 October 1916, deposed within eight months under colonial pressure, and restored to the throne in 1917. He reigned until his death on 15 October 1925.

Omoba M.A Ademolu direct son of Oba Ademolu Fesogbade - Opa Ase he was a man shaped by both nobility and diginity. Orphaned at teenager, he was raised by his mum and aunties who turned his grief into greatness. A proper Abidagba, he seized colonial-era education, excelling at Ijebu-Ode Grammar School, where he earned the nickname "Bladder 10" for his football prowess.

His legendary penmanship led him to Lagos and a distinguished career in the Revenue Service. But his true legacy was family. Married to Sadia Aminotu Nee Adams, he built a home that was a refuge for all children, nephews, and nieces alike. He was the glue of his kin, generous yet prudence itself, an Ijebu man to the core.

He briefly lived in Canada but returned to Nigeria, dividing time between Ijebu-Ode and Lagos, he was buried at his residence along Ijagun Road close to Ile Gbotibaba in Ondo Road in Ijebu-Ode. A disciplinarian who corrected without breaking, he loved unconditionally. Though gone, his footprints remain indelible—in his remarkable lineage and in every life he touched.

Pa Emmanuel Olutayo Adesola Ibirogba

Grandson of Awujale Oba Ademolu Fesogbade - Opa Ase of Ijebuland

Pa Emmanuel Olutayo Adesola Ibirogba — grandson of Awujale Oba Ademolu Fesogbade - Opa Ase of Ijebuland, through his mother Osenatu Ademolu, one of the king's daughters. Born in Ijebu-Ode in 1930, he adopted his mother's royal maiden name "Ademolu" during his school days—carrying the blood of the Anikinaiya Royal Family.

His mother sent him to be raised by her brother, Omoba Mustapha Adebisi Ademolu, who ensured his education. He attended Baptist Academy, Lagos, later working at Shell and building a life in England. He married Francisca Lewis in 1966 and raised five children.

A man of integrity, he was trusted as "Agbowo Rin" — a keeper of others' money who never touched a penny entrusted to him. He also served as Administrator of Omoba M.A. Ademolu's Last Will, honouring his royal uncle's legacy.

Though he lived in England and visited family in Texas, his Ijebu roots never faded. He passed on the values of his Ademolu heritage—discipline, generosity, and unwavering integrity. His life proved that a good name, inherited from royalty, must be earned anew by character.

Ogbagba II · Awujale 1960 – 2025

Of the same Anikinaiya Ruling House. His 2010 autobiography, Awujale, gives the family's own account of Oba Ademolu's accession on pages 3–4. The longest reign in Ijebu history — 65 years.

Stephen Ademolu

Grandson of Omoba M.A. Ademolu and Son of Bola and Barbara Ademolu

Stephen Ademolu, grandson of Omoba M.A. Ademolu and son of Bola and Barbara Ademolu, carried his Ijebu royal heritage into a football career across Canada, the U.S., and Europe. A prolific scorer from youth level through college where he earned conference Player of the Year honors—he went on to play professionally in Sweden, Norway, and Lithuania, winning league titles with FK Ekranas and scoring a memorable UEFA Cup goal against Galatasaray.

He also represented Canada at Olympic and senior levels. Now a coach and mentor through his soccer academy, Stephen continues his family's legacy of excellence, blending his Nigerian roots with a lifelong commitment to developing young talent on and off the pitch.
